Suzanne Pleshette was an American actress and voice-over artist. Through her long career of five decades she accumulated over 100 points on her resume. Pleshette began her career as an actor in New York on stage, before moving on into film. She has starred in a number of films including "The Birds", Rome Adventure", Fate Is the Hunter", if it's Tuesday it must be Belgium" and "Support Your Local Gunfighter". Her TV roles and films were varied as well. Pleshette received four Emmy Awards nominations and was not only nominated for two Golden Globe Awards. After being nominated two times, Pleshette won the Laurel Award in 1963 for 'The Birds'. Pleshette's death in 2008 was the cause of an award posthumously conferred to her Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
